This is one of my favourite bird photographs I have ever taken.

I have always liked Blackbirds.

238 Eggs

Have you ever found yourself in the position of having 238 eggs, a torch and a camera to hand?

I have!

I also had a few minutes to kill so I took this picture.

Strange? Yes, but I quite like it for some reason.

View from the M6

I have wanted to take this photograph for a long time. I don’t know what this building is used for but it is beside the M6 motorway half way between Preston and Lancaster. To me it looks very much like an alpine scene.

Eggs

I have been playing about with photoshop today. Don’t ask because I don’t know why I was taking pictures of an egg.

Tomato

This tomato picture was taken in my bath. It is a very useful space to use because of the curves. It also tends to give good even lighting because the light bounces everywhere.

Lamp

I took this picture on Sunday morning. I positioned the sun behind the lamp to make it glow a bit.

Happy Easter

This morning I took my time walking home through town. I was quite pleased with some of the shots I got. But you can’t see them today because it is Easter and my daughter wanted to take some pictures of chocolate eggs.
