What does this mean?

?????

I took a walk through Liverpool city centre yesterday and saw this writing on a wall. It reads:

‘YOU CAN LIVE HERE
BUT YOU CANT LIVE
HERE’

I have no idea what it means but I thought it looked quite interesting so I took a photograph of it.

Bowl

This is a close up shot of the memorial to the Irish Famine 1845-52. The memorial is in the gardens of St Lukes Church.

Church

Conditions were not too great this morning but I did manage to get some shots I’m happy with.

Cathedral Dawn

Cathedral

I know I have posted shots of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral at dawn before but I have always liked the way it looks with the sun rising almost directly behind it. Every time it looks completely different.

Cygnet

Cygnet

Another shot of the cygnet today. I really like the way it is craning it’s neck and looking up.

Swimming With Mum

Follow Mum

I took this photograph at the canal near my house. I opted for a soft focus for a more dreamy feel. I also moved the cygnet closer to the swan for a tighter composition.

Ugly Duckling

Cygnet

I took this shot yesterday just after the shot from yesterdays post.

This cygnet  was very confident. His parents however didn’t stop hissing at me. I left them to it after a short while because they were obviously unhappy with my presence.

Ducks Arse

My brand new EOS 450D came today, so I did what any self respecting photographer would do. I went out and took a photograph of a duck’s bottom. I really like the level of detail my new camera captures.

Dark and Moody

Moody Path

We have had lots of rain over the weekend. So much and so heavy that I haven’t been able to get out with my camera. Instead I have stayed in played on the Wii and edited the few images I did manage to get. This one raised lots of debate. It started quite grey and washed out. I now think it looks rather moody. I just wish I had opened the gate a little.

It has been raining heavy all day so I have spent a lot of time inside. I took this shot last night when I went for awalk with my mum.
