Coffee

I like this shot for very similar reasons to yesterdays shot.

I like this shot for very similar reasons to yesterdays shot.

There is not much I can say about this shot. Its simple, has shallow depth of field and I like it.

I have been messing about with some shots I took this morning for a hotel in Liverpool. This was taken in the riverside restaurant. I decided to push this shot as far as I could in post production to see what I would end up with. I think I went too far but I do quite like the result.

Night photography is not my strong point but when I saw this I had to give it a go.
This bunny is hanging on the tower of St James Church in Toxteth.
Rabbit is the fourth and final animal, by artist Ron Haselden, in a series of striking light installations as part of Liverpool Biennial’s Winter Lights programme.
In other news, I got a letter from Digital SLR Photography Magazine today telling me I was in the top 100 entrants in their Photo Excellence Awards 2008 and inviting me to an awards ceremony next week in London. It also says that the overall winner will be announced and used the words ‘you never know, it could be you!’
Everyone please keep your fingers crossed for me.

This is another shot from when HMS Illustrious was in Liverpool.

One Park West is a very interesting building. I love the angle of this shot.

I think I have taken more shots of this building than any other apart from the Anglican Cathedral. I really like both buildings because they are quite interesting to shoot with every angle giving a very different feeling.

This is a shot of one of the Harriers on HMS Illustrious.

This is another shot from my trip on the ferry the other day. I like the building in the background of this shot.

I took this shot when I was on the ferry the other day. I like the spray thrown up by the boat.
