At my place of work, somebody decided it was time to put up some Christmas decorations. Amongst the decorations are four small snowmen. This is my favorite one.

The lights were on all night at the Anglican Cathedral and it looked quite striking at dawn. I had to take this shot hand held. I must make sure I have my tripod with me next time.

I find that gulls are among the easiest wild birds to shoot. Once they realise you can be a source of food they offer plenty of photo opportunities.

Not the most colourful but cormorants are definitely amongst my favorite birds.

Starlings are not the easiest bird to shoot. They are small and never stay still.

This is another shot from yesterday morning. I am really pleased with this shot.

This morning I was trying to get some shots of some cormorants in Queens Dock. Unfortunately they were staying in the middle of the dock and my 300mm lens just wasn’t enough to get close shots. However there were lots of gulls.
This was a tricky shot to get and I am really pleased with it.

This shot of the Liverpool waterfront was taken when HMS Illustrious was in town.

The view of Liverpool from the river has really changed over the last few years.
