Anglican Cathedral

I took this shot yesterday morning. The weather was fantastic and the sky was very blue. It was almost like being abroad.

It was so nice this morning I decided to take a walk around the Cathedral.

This shot was taken last Sunday when HMS Daring was in Liverpool.

It was quite good to watch these guys showing off on the river the other day.

This is an HDR shot of the Captain Walker statue at the Pier Head looking out towards HMS Daring.

I once said on here that the Liver Building is quite tricky to get a full shot of. Now that the Pier Head is more open there are several good angles to shoot it from.

When I got to the Pier Head this morning I was just in time to see HMS Daring being pushed out by a Tug.

I took my kids to see HMS Daring today. The sun was fantastic and the ship was impressive. I was impressed with how well we were treated by the crew who were great with my kids.

I think this is probably one of those shots that people either like or dislike. I love it but I can see how some people could completely misunderstand the hole point of it. It is more about the tones in the photograph than it is about subject matter. I love the blue tones in it and the way the white on the water is so bright. To be honest it would make little difference if there was a flying cow on the horizon, I would still like the photograph for these reasons.

I quite enjoyed taking this shot of a family of ducks. I could have sat and watched them all day.
