There are lots of ducklings on the canal at this time of year. I like the ripples on this shot.

I took a walk down by the canal this morning. These ducklings were sat in the sun relaxing.

Congratulations Stuart and Louise

This is Stuart and Louise. They got married yesterday in a lovely service at a hotel in Leyland. The food was good, there was plenty of dancing and even a huge chocolate fountain. I had a wonderful time.

Dusk

I took this shot when I was in Scotland a couple of months ago. I like the strong colours often found around sunset.

Fountain

When I took this shot of the fountain outside the Walker art gallery, I wanted to capture as much of the splashing water as I could but keep it sharp. I positioned myself so the sun was behind the fountain and used a fast shutter speed. I quite like the result.

Pillars and Statue

I posted a shot similar to this one a couple of weeks ago. I like this one too. The pillars remind me of a bar code.

Kitten

Another shot of our new kitten today. I think it’s eyes look like pearls.

New Cat

This is our new kitten. We are trying to decide what to call it. We have two cats already who’s names are Parsley and Basil. This one is a female and we would like to name her after a herb. Any suggestions.
