I liked the abstract sunset from a few days ago so much that I decided to do a similar shot but framed as a wider image. This will be the new image for the header of my blog.

This was shot shortly before the shot I posted yesterday. They are both very different shots. I’m not sure what shot I prefer.

Abstract Sunset

I took this abstract sunset shot at Crosby beach a couple of days ago. Even though there is a lot of motion blur I can still make out the wet sand in the foreground and the point where the water is lapping against the sand. I really like this shot.

Smoke Horn

This shot reminds me of a unicorn horn by the way it seems to twist round on itself.

For this image I wanted to play about with the original shot a bit. I changed the levels, inverted the whole image and then added colour. I am pleased with the results.

Another smoke shot today. This one reminds me of an xray image.

It has been quite some time since I last played about with smoke and a camera. I quite like the shapes made by the smoke in this shot.

Birds on a wire

I really like the geometry in this shot. When I took this photo I could see the shape of a letter ‘Z’.
