We went to Crosby beach earlier with my friend Phil. While we were there the sunset was quite dramatic.

Flying Display

We went down to the river to see the flying display yesterday. It was really impressive.

Take Off

I quite like this shot of a helicopter taking off from the busy deck of HMS Illustrious.

I’m not sure what the plan is today but if the weather clears up and the rain stops we will be going to see the flying display in front of the Albert Dock. For now here is a shot of one of the helicopters from HMS Illustrious shortly after taking off.

This shot was quite tricky to get. Mainly because I was shooting into the sun. I am however very pleased with the final shot.

I was thinking about going down to see HMS Illustrious sail in today but I had quite a bad headache. Instead here is a photo of one of my cats.
